- About this photo: The Penn State White Out has been called the single greatest atmosphere in American sports and is a bucket list event for every Penn State fan. Thousands of Nittany Lion fans turn Beaver Stadium into a wall of white and sea of deafening sound for a true home-field advantage. Since 2007, more than 1 million people have been part of the raucous crowd at these Penn State White Out games. This photo, captured on November 9, 2024, captured Penn State’s first touchdown of the night in front of 110,233 enthusiastic fans. The Nittany Lions went on to earn a 35-6 victory over new Big Ten rival, the Washington Huskies.
