This was the #8 Utah Utes second consecutive Rose Bowl Game appearance while the #11 Penn State Nittany Lions were making their first appearance since 2017. With some big plays and a strong second half performance, Penn State claimed their second Rose Bowl victory overall, and first since 1995.
